Instructions for downloading and enrolling on Salt Edge Authenticator

PSD2 Requirements and Setup Guidelines


In order to start using the latest Byblos Bank Europe Mobile Banking App (PSD2 Release), you will be required to complete both steps described below (i.e. download and enroll on the Salt Edge Authenticator app). This will ensure strong customer authentication (SCA) and enable single-point access to all of your accounts at Byblos Bank Europe, or any other European bank.

  • Step 1:

    Download the Salt Edge Authenticator App

    Please click on one of the links below to download the Salt Edge Authenticator App from Google Play or the App Store.
  • Step 2:

    Enroll on the Salt Edge Authenticator App

    • Following application download, you will need to enroll by self-registering your PSD2 profile. To do this, please scan the QR code below.

    • To complete the enrollment process, you will be required to input your relevant Byblos Bank Europe credentials:
      • For Mobile Banking, enter your Byblos Bank Europe Mobile Banking App username and password, followed by a one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number.
      • For Corporate Internet Banking (CIB), enter your Byblos Bank Europe CIB username and password, followed by a one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number.
    • Following application download, you will need to enroll by self-registering your PSD2 profile. To do this, please access the following link:

      Self-register your Byblos Bank Europe – PSD2 Profile

      This will connect your Byblos Bank Europe Mobile Banking App with the Salt Edge Authenticator app.

    • To complete the enrollment process, you will be required to input your relevant Byblos Bank Europe credentials:
      • For Mobile Banking, enter your Byblos Bank Europe Mobile Banking App username and password, followed by a one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number.
      • For Corporate Internet Banking (CIB), enter your Byblos Bank Europe CIB username and password, followed by a one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number.
