Byblos Bank Europe Welcomes the Governor of Banque du Liban in Belgium

Beirut, 6 February 2018 - Byblos Bank Chairman - General Manager Semaan Bassil and Byblos Bank Europe Chief Executive Officer Fouad Trad welcomed in Brussels the Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon Riad Salameh on the sidelines of a forum titled "Financial and Monetary Stability, Impact on the Lebanese Economy", organized by the Belgian Lebanese Business Council and sponsored by Byblos Bank Europe.

 

This was an occasion to reiterate the pioneering role played by the Central Bank in securing monetary and financial stability in Lebanon and to praise the wise leadership of its governor while highlighting the importance of the reassurances he provided during his official talks in Brussels with the Belgian and European monetary authorities, as well as during his meetings with ambassadors and the Lebanese community who came from Belgium, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
